Take a look at a video interview about Emily’s journey to parenthood, from the great web documentary series, Into the Middle of Things:
Emily in Hagley, Tasmania“I hated the fact that I couldn’t take control… It really messed with my head because it just wasn’t me. It wasn’t my vision of me.”A single mum by choice of a sperm donor, Emily struggled with postnatal depression after the birth of one of her children, leaving her incapacitated and with intense feelings of guilt and frustration at herself. With the support of her family, she came out the other side of her depression with a passion for connecting with other parents all over the world.#mentalhealthweek
